Pool closing season is upon us. Here a few things you want to do prior to having your pool winterized. First make sure that the pool isn’t leaking. Most pools need to have water in them the entire winter. Sever damage can occur if the water level drops over the winter. Also make sure your water chemistry is balanced and you add a winter closing chemical kit. Run the pump for at least 4 hours after adding chemicals prior to turning the pump off. Use Natural chemistry a week or so prior to closing which helps clean the filter and prevent waterline ring in the spring.
